I’ve always loved photographing people in their homes. There’s just something about being in your own environment that brings about a comfortable feeling…. and helps people feel relaxed and casual. Some of my favorite photos of my own childhood are just little snapshots my mom took with an old film camera around our house with my sisters. I love seeing the context of what life was like then. It helps to put together memories or shadows of emotion from a time that was.
I hope that in years to come these little lovebirds will be able to look back and see their first space together as a married couple, and remember the way it felt. You guys are the best. Thanks for letting me in your space and having fun with this!
